on Strategy
Catalyst take a highly ambitious and action orientated approach when helping our clients to define and execute their strategies.
At Catalyst, we believe that the better you are at involving the right people at the right time when defining and mobilising strategy, the better you can create and execute strategy.
Monstrous reports will not move you forward
Far too many companies see the strategy definition phase as work conducted by a selected few who look through monstrous reports in order to make a decision and subsequently hand over the execution of that strategy to some other part of the organization.
As a result, there is little ownership of this work. Successful execution is at best coincidental.
Involve wider
A better way of building and executing strategy is to involve a much wider selection of the organization's employees in a more process orientated way. You will achieve a much stronger ownership by adopting such an approach and a similarly better ability to execute.
An open and collaborative route
Catalyst believes that the truly successful companies of the future will follow a much more open and collaborative route towards strategy definition and execution, namely by involving partners, suppliers and a wider part of those companies' business communities.
Working in this manner requires firms to have an open and collaborative relationship with their partners which many organisations do not have today.
